CHANEL TASSEN
Chanel werd in 1910 opgericht door Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, toen zij haar hoedenwinkel Chanel Modes opende op 21 Rue Cambon in Parijs, en het huis is vandaag de dag in handen van de broers Alain en Gérard Wertheimer, kleinzonen van Pierre Wertheimer, die in 1924 de zakenpartner van Coco Chanel werd. In 2018 verhuisde het hoofdkantoor van Chanel van Parijs naar Londen, waar u het vandaag de dag vindt. Gabrielle begon haar carrière als naaister en bouwde daar razendsnel een reputatie op met haar innovatieve ontwerpen en haute-couturemode.

Chanel telt wereldwijd 310 Chanel-boetieks, waar het iconische logo staat voor luxe en een modebewuste stijl. Chanel biedt een gevarieerd assortiment dat een breed publiek met een fascinatie voor Franse mode aanspreekt. Gabrielle wist een symbool van vrouwelijke emancipatie te scheppen toen zij de damesmode in de 20e eeuw ingrijpend veranderde. Het vermogen om ontwerpen te creëren waarin vrouwelijkheid als rode draad terugkeert, is tot op de dag van vandaag onafgebroken gebleven.
